Materials:

d.k. weight yarn, approx 82 yds per 25 gm skein. Sweater pictured uses Simply Shetland's Jamieson d.k. wool. 1 set each US 2 and US 4 needles.

A 16" US 2 circular needle. Some stitch holders. Crochet hook size E (optional)

 

Gauge:

Stockinette stitch sample:  6 st = 1"; 8 rows = 1" on US 4 (sleeve).

Pattern Stitch: 8 3/4 rows = 1" on US 4 (body)

This sweater knits on smaller needles than is customary for this weight yarn. The tighter gauge results in a better fitting,longer lasting garment. A Mari Sweater fits and it flatters.
